ImREAL: Immersive Reflective Experience-based Adaptive Learning

Start date: 01/10/2010

Duration: 36 months

Funding body: ICT Framework 7 project

ImREAL aims to deliver intelligent services that augment dialogue simulators for learning. Three key services will be developed: capturing real world activity and semantic content annotation, extended user and context modelling, and adaptive meta-cognitive scaffolding. An integrated framework will be implemented and instantiated to extend simulated environments. For details please see the ImREAL Homepage. (Leeds team: PI: Vania Dimitrova, CI: Lydia Lau, Alison Marshall, and from Leeds Business School: Alistair Norman, David Allen)
