Projects: Sources of Information
Sources of Information
There is a form available in the trays opposite the SSO which gives more
information about selecting a project.
There are some useful sources of information available to help you decide
on possible projects:
- You should consult the discussion board "Final-Year Projects" in the
VLE to view proposals made
by members
of staff. If you are interested in any of the projects you may like to speak to
the proposer before deciding your preference - we suggest you email to
make an appointment.
- There is also
a list of past project titles available
which may be
useful. These MAY give inspiration! It is also possible that certain projects
can be extended.
- You may wish to speak to your tutor or someone who lectures in your area
of interest about possible projects. If you do consult with a member of staff regarding a particular project it would
be helpful to mention this on your form. If you want more information about the
research interests of the staff in the school, please consult
the school's research pages.
- You may have your own ideas about projects or have worked with a company
who have suggested topics. It may be helpful to check with an
appropriate member of staff that the idea is feasible first, or you could
fill in the appropriate form and check the feasibility when your supervisor
has been allocated.
