Preference Forms
Preference forms need to be submitted prior to the start of the project. An information sheet is available in the trays opposite the SSO, and guidelines on selecting a project are also available.There are two forms for students to fill in regarding their project preferences. Both forms are available opposite the CSO or online below :
- The 'Student Form' (Word and pdf) MUST be completed and requires 3 areas of interest to be suggested. Please give a broad outline of the subject area (Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Systems, etc.) as well as a more detailed explanation of the problem you wish to tackle. If you enter a code from local.projects, please also note what aspect of it particularly interests you as it may be possible to negotiate a similar topic.
- Additionally there is an 'Own Proposal Form' (Word and pdf) which MAY also be filled in by students who wish to suggest their own project. It is useful to discuss ideas with your tutor or an appropriate member of staff to ensure the feasibility of your proposal. Please mention on the form if you have discussed the project with a member of staff.
