Supervisor Allocation and Start of Project
Projects can begin when the list of students' supervisors is posted. As soon as possible thereafter students should contact their supervisor to arrange an initial meeting, so as to set about agreeing upon a suitable project. Soon afterwards students and supervisors should arrange a regular meeting time. As a minimum students can expect supervision of up to half an hour a week or an hour a fortnight. Meetings may be conducted in groups.Students are reminded that conduct is implicitly assessed, and unnecessary delays in arranging the initial meeting could adversely affect the final project mark (this meeting should be arranged within seven days of the posting of the list of supervisors).
