| Purpose: This site is designed to provide supporting material to the book. Unike many programming text books that provide sample code and software on CD, How to Program Using C++ has its own dedicated website.
Usability: Every effort has been made to ensure this site will work with all of the mainstream web browsers in use today. This includes Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape, Mozilla and Konquerer, the majority of this site is also usable in text-based browsers such as Lynx.
In places cookies are used to maintain variables selected by the user. All of todays browsers support cookies, however if you chose to disable them certain aspects of the site may malfunction.
A screen resolution of at least 800 x 600 is recommended for the site to display correctly.
Development: The majority of this site was developed by Richard McLeod as part of his BSc Computer Science degree at the University of Leeds in the UK. Some aspects of this site are shared with the website of "How to Program Using Java" and were developed by Ian Fletcher also as part of his degree.
