About the Artist - Christine Jopling

As a Lancashire/Yorkshire hybrid, I was brought up on lots of decent beer, and I'm bilingual. I've been educated at various establishments, doing various arty things like making chairs out of milk crates and handloom weaving, before settling on illustration.

My clients have included lots of impressive people like Palgrave Macmillan, Capital One, International Greetings and the Boat Brewery. I have been known to draw serious things, like aubergines, but for some reason my sheep are quite popular.

Many people think that sheep are stupid, but they do like Wheat Crunchies™ and you can draw patterns in their wool with your finger, if you can find a friendly one.
