Sessions
Leeds Source-IT provides two sessions for students to (1) find out more about Leeds Source-IT and (2) an induction session for students accepted to become a LSIT consultant.
- Introductory Session is a session for all second and third year School of Computing undergraduate studenta and is approximately 1 hour long. This session will answer the following question: "What is Leeds Source-IT and is it right for you?". This session is also and opportunity for students interested in being a LSIT consultant to submit of application forms (Slides: PPT)
- Induction Session which follows the introduction session is for students interested in becoming a consultant. The session duration is approximately 30-60 minutes and provides the opportunity to fill in forms and answer questions on contractual stuff, tax issues, etc. Consultants are provided with handbooks and talked through key points related to working as a Leeds Source-IT consultant
Workshops
Leeds Source-IT Consultants are required to attend the Source-IT workshops. These workshops are open for all School of Computing, University of Leeds students, however, if over subscribed, priority will be given to consultants.
