Roberto Fraile (Ro-ber-to)

I am a Research Fellow at the Computer Vision group, part of the School of Computing at the University of Leeds.

I work in the project LAVID, funded by EPSRC, which has the aim of learning about activities from video. My current research is in hierarchical representations of motion, obtained from tracked features.

If you wish to contact me please email to rf@comp.leeds.ac.uk or visit me at E C Stoner Building 7.27.

I have previously worked on information theory for model selection (MDL and the like) with applications to vehicle trajectory analysis and remote sensing. I have also worked on graph-spectral methods for surface reconstruction from fields of surface normals.
