Ms Belinda Wu

Belinda Wu Belinda Wu is a Research Officer working primarily on MoSeS. Belinda's research activity cuts across a number of disciple areas in geography, computing and social science. Before joined the Transport Policy and Planning Research Group at the Transport Centre in University of Ulster, she obtained an MSc with Distinction in Computing and Information Systems there. She will continue working as a Research Officer on the ESRC funded 2nd phase e-social science project GENESIS after the 1st phase project of MOSES in School of Geography, University of Leeds. Her research interests include e-social science, social modelling and simulation, decision making support systems, spatial policy and planning, social exclusion, demographic modelling, transport modelling and simulation, microsimulation, multi-agent applications, GPS and GIS. She is a Fellow of Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) (2008), Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (MILT) (2004), Member of the Association for Geographic Information, Northern Ireland (AGINI) (2004) and was invited to be a member of the Geographical Information Strategy Implementation Board for Northern Ireland (Transport Sector) (2004).
