For 2011-12, membership fees remain the same since 2009 and will be collected twice during the year. The first collection is £30 and it covers October - April (7 months). The second collection is £20 and it covers May to Sept (5 months).
The first collection should be paid by 14th October 2011 to the Secretary, Tim Hainsworth. Cheque is preferred and please made it payable to ‘Leeds University Staff Badminton Club’ with the full name of the member written at the back of the cheque (+ email address for new member). It can be either passed to Tim during a club night, or posted to Dr Tim Hainsworth (School of Mathematics, University of Leeds, LS2 9JT), or passed to your team captain.
Juniors (who are at school-age) can be exempted from membership fee if only play during non-peak period (e.g. during summer holidays).
Additional match fees will be levied at the rate of £5 per away match and £0 per home match (this system is to compensate for the Sports Hall entrance fee). Match fees should be paid promptly per match to the team captain.
Visitors are charged at £2 per visit.
Entrance fee to the Leeds University Sports Centre: If you are not in possession of a valid 'Sports Pass' for the EDGE, you will be expected to pay a fee at the counter on entry (normally £5.50 for 2011-12).
