VISTA

I am a research fellow on the VISTA project at the university of Leeds. My role is to develop methods for the conversion of raster maps of utility data to vector format. Whilst it is a straightforward task to vectorise raster data, the challenge is to detect the attributes and topology of the resulting vector as much as possible.

A summary of current work on this workpackage of the VISTA project can be seen here

You can read more about the VISTA project at Leeds here. Leeds is one of around 23 partners on the project. The website for the whole project can be found here.

If you are viewing this page from within the School of computing, current experimental files and images can be seen here

I'm also attempting to gather various other pieces of work I've been invovled in in my leisure time at my other home page.
