  • Master degree in Mathematics-computer science from Science college for Girls in Dammam & King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia.
  • Bachelor degree in Mathematics sciences with highest honours from Science College for Girls,Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

    Employment:
  • Lecturer in Science College for Girls, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, May 1998– present.
  • Graduate assistance in Science College for Girls, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

    Areas of Research Interest:
  • Computer Vision and Image Processing.
  • Statistical Methods for CBIR.
  • Genetic Algorithms.
  • Knapsack Problems.

    Awarded:
  • Master research entitled "A Genetic Algorithm for the 0-1 Knapsack Problem" won Prince Mohammed bin Fahd "Governor of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia" prize for scientific excellence. It was under supervision of Prof Duffuaa, Systems Engineering, King Fahd University, Saudi Arabia.

    Current Research:     Shoeprint Classification.
