	I am an independent researcher and an Arabic corpus consultant. I received my PhD in linguistics in 1993 from Lancaster University UK, and I taught linguistics in Qatar for four years. In 2004 I finished an MSc research project in the School of Computing in the University of Leeds. The topic of my thesis is 'Designing and Developing a Corpus of Contemporary Arabic '. You can download the Corpus of Contemporary Arabic from my Research page. I have an interest in Arabic corpus linguistic research.
