Its me

I am second year PhD student in School of Computing, University of Leeds . I am working under Prof. Tony Cohn and Prof. David Hogg in the area of Cognitive Vision and partially funded by the European Commission's Co-Friend project.

Education Background

I got my M.Tech (2004-06) in Artificial Intelligence from Department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad. My thesis was on "N-gram analysis for Computer Virus Detection" (Department of CIS' Best Thesis Award and Gold Medal sponsored by TCS, 2006) which I completed under the guidance of Prof. Arun Pujari. I got my B.Tech (2000-04) in Computer Science and Engineering from JNT University, Hyderabad.

Work Experience

After my M.Tech, I worked in D. E. Shaw India Software for around 18 months as software developer.

Computer Vision Group

The vision group has been in existence for over 18 years, focusing on general methods for object recognition, segmentation and video analysis; and on applications of computer vision to medicine, security, sport and entertainment. The activities of the group are presented under two headings: activity analysis and medical image analysis.
