Dr Lu Liu
Lu Liu
Dr Lu Liu is a Research Fellow in School of Computing at University of Leeds. He received his PhD Degree from University of Surrey (funded by UK DIF DTC) and MSc Degree from Brunel University. His research interests are in areas of peer-to-peer computing, software engineering, Grid/Web Service and system of systems engineering. He has over 20 scientific publications as first author in reputable journals and international conferences. He won the Best Paper Award at the Realising Network Enabled Capability Conference in 2008.
Dr Liu joined University of Leeds in August 2007. He is currently working on Network Enabled Capability Through Innovative Systems Engineering (NECTISE) Project which is an EPSRC/BAE Systems funded research project involving ten UK Universities.
Dr Liu is associate editor for Springer Journal on Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications and guest-edited the special issue on Dependable Peer-to-Peer Systems. He is on the Editorial Review Board of International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies (IGI Global). He served as Co-chair, Program Committee Member, and Session Chair of a number of International Conferences and Workshops, including AP2PS 2009, ServP2P’09, ICIW 09, RNEC’08, ComP2P’08, ICCGI’08.
