The Distributed Systems and Services group have signed a collaborative agreement with Torry Harris Business Solutions. This provides joint thinking on aspects for SOA and Agile approaches to developing and providing distributed systems.

This collaboration between academia and industry has so par produced the following public outputs:

• The group and Torry Harris Business Solutions have published a white paper on issues of security in dynamic SOA deployments titled "Migration & Security in SOA" .
• Dr. Duncan Russell has presented the presentation "Trends and Statistics: Lean and SOA " at the Torry Harris workshop "Getting your act together - With Lean IT and SOA" on June 18th 2009. Following the presentation on SOA and Agile processes Ravi Chander, CEO Torry Harris, said "If you want to go back to school, then you should go to Leeds".
