News

August 1st 2011 - The group will be involved in organising the tenth e-Science All Hands Meeting (AHM) will be held from 26th-29th September 2011 in York. In addition, the group will be running a booth to showcase work from the White Rose Grid.

May 24th 2011 - John Davies will be representing the group at the INCOSE Academic Forum to take place on May 26th 2011 in Loughborough.

February 17th 2011 - The group will be involved in organising the The Second International Workshop on Dependable Service-Oriented Computing (DSOC) to take place in August 2011.

November 17th 2010 - PhD studentship position for research in the area of "Dependability in Virtual-Machine based Clouds" has now been filled. We are pleased to welcome Peter Garraghan to our group in December.

January 11th 2010 - The group will be involved in organising the The First International Workshop on Dependable Service-Oriented Computing (DSOC) to take place in June 2010.

November 18th 2009 - The group will be presenting work from the GENESIS project at the 2009 UK e-Science All Hands Meeting starting the week of Monday 7th December 2009.

November 18th 2009 - We are pleased to announce that the new NGS website was launched today in part thanks to the contributions of Shiv Kaushal.

August 30th 2009 - As of September 2009 Rob Smith has joined our group to begin a PhD study in governance of heterogeneous service based systems.

June 18th 2009 - Dr. Duncan Russell has presented his talk "Trends and Statistics: Lean and SOA" at the Torry Harris workshop on June 18th 2009.
