Getting to the Craiglands Hotel

Air Connections

The nearest airport to Ilkley is Leeds/Bradford. This has regular connecting flights from Heathrow, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris. Manchester Airport is also a possibility but train travel from there to Ilkley will take two to three hous depending on connections.

From Leeds/Bradford Airport

A taxi from the airport to Ilkley will take 20 mins but possibly a lot longer if traffic is heavy. It will cost around £25.

A cheaper way is to take a taxi from the airport to Guisely station which will cost arround £6. From there trains run regularly direct to Ilkley, taking around 15 mins. The train fare is probably around one or two pounds. For exact times you can check the Railtrack website.

Train

Car

Ilkely is about 30 mins from Leeds. It is a fairly straightforward journey north along the A65.

    The hotel is an easy walk from the town rail station. Have a look at the following map of Ilkely (from Multimap) . The Craiglands hotel is on Cowpasture road which starts near the station and leads up towards the moor. The hotel is situated opposite the junction with Wheatley Road.
