The "Mahdiyya" Qur'an: the data
- The data consist of 346 pages.
- Each "page" presents as three images: a scan, a backlit scan, and a scan of the reverse.
- The pages are scanned against a uniform background. The paper is highly textured and the ink is a mixture of black and red.
- Each image presents as approximately 18M (TIF).
