What Students Think About Computing
Best bit about computing?
After assessing the textual answers for the questions, the answers were categorised into four sections: programming (12% of responses cited), finding solutions and problems solving (18%); building something and being creative (9%); and finally, expanding knowledge to have and impact, and changing the world (9%).
NB. Answers from students can fit into more than one category and were not exclusive to a categorisation. While students listed programming as a positive, they were more description with the other categorisations.

Worst bit about computing?
After assessing the textual answers for the questions, the answers were categorised into the following sections: not being able to compile programmes or find a solution (12% of responses cited), working hours and where you work (4%); peoples perception of computer science and computer scientists (12%); writing documentation and design (7%); and legacy, technology and the continual change of technology (4%).
